The last words weren't a goodbye. They were a door.
Whether you've just turned the last page or you're still somewhere in the middle, we're glad you're here. Ask Althea is where you can keep practicing what you've been reading, with others finding their own way.
Membership is free.
The community
Bring the moment you went back on autopilot, and the moment you caught it. Bring your questions, too. You don't need to have mastered the practice to take part.
Someone says, “I lost it today,” and someone else answers, “I know. Me too. Let's keep going.”
Everyone is on their own path, and we respect each one without ranking it against another. The community is deeply spiritual, and it welcomes any faith or none at all.
For your practice
A little support for remembering, and for putting the practice to work in everyday life.

The Ritual of Return is a weekly letter: a short reflection and a practice to carry with you. It's a small, steady way to keep coming back.

From Phil & Rachelle
Althea is a Greek name traditionally understood to mean “healer.” When we were choosing a name, that meaning decided it for us. We wanted a place where people could heal from the pain that old stories and limiting beliefs create, and remember who they are beneath them.
The name also comes from the Grateful Dead song “Althea,” by Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia. We hear in it a wise friend who gently points a man back to himself. To us, Althea is the healing wisdom already within you, the voice that knows the way.
We hoped the book would lead you here. We're glad it did.
